If you are a full-time student, you can save money on GO Transit (trains and buses). To get the lower fare, you need two things: a reloadable PRESTO card and a GO Student ID card.
How to Apply:
- Submit Your Request: Apply online through the [GO Transit Website].
- Wait for Review: A staff member at the TCard Office will check your application to confirm your eligiblity.
- Check Your Email: You will get an email letting you know if you are approved. If your application is denied, we will explain why. If you have questions about the decision, please reach out to us!
Who Can Get the Discount?
- You are eligible if you are a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at any U of T campus. This includes:
- Co-op or Exchange Students: You are eligible while you are in these programs.
- Accessibility Students: If you are registered with Accessibility Services, you may be considered “full-time” even if you are taking fewer classes. Please ask your Registrar’s Office to email us to confirm this exception.
Who is Not Eligible?
- Part-time Undergraduate/Graduate students
- Staff and Faculty
- School of Continuing Studies (SCS) students
Post-Graduate Medical Education (PGME) Residents
