Using Your TCard

On this page learn how you can use and load money on your TCard.

Your TCard is your identification for academic purposes. It includes your photo, UTORid, student number and a barcode.

How can I use my TCard?

Your TCard can be used in many ways:

  • as an identification card for exams, voting on campus, and student discounts
  • as a library card
  • for printing and photocopying
  • to gain access to University of Toronto facilities such as athletic facilities
  • to carry a cash value for food and University of Toronto Bookstore purchases through the TCard+ program

How do I load money on my TCard?

Downtown Toronto (St. George) Campus

TCard+

Funds can be loaded onto your TCard for meals at participating food locations, library printing services and University of Toronto Bookstore purchases either online or in person at the Food Services office, 229 College Street, 2nd Floor.
